As soon as I arrive, I pay attention to how a restaurant treats its guests. In this case, the evening got off to a positive start with access to a normally exclusive lobby bar. At the same time, however, I noticed that despite our German reservation, only English was spoken and the service left a rather intrusive impression due to very early and repeated inquiries. Such details are included in my review because they say a lot about the service culture of an establishment. The selection of pizzas, for which the restaurant is known, was very large. From standard dishes to original creations and signature dishes, everything was included.

When it comes to the food, I deliberately distinguish between the individual courses so that I can evaluate the cuisine in a differentiated manner. The tagliatelle Bolognese impressed with its good consistency and appropriate portion size. Although most of the other dishes needed additional seasoning, this was not the case here. The pizza prosciutto, on the other hand, had clear weaknesses: despite well-balanced ingredients, the dough was extremely thin and barely seasoned, which noticeably detracted from the overall impression. The thin dough is part of the restaurant's identity, but unfortunately it didn't really convince me. This impression continued with the dessert. The Nutella pizza was generously topped, but the dough was so thin and brittle that it fell apart while eating. It was also much too salty, which is simply inappropriate for a dessert. Here, too, the decisive factor for me is how a restaurant responds to feedback. In this case, the criticism was ignored. Despite this mixture of positive and critical points, the price-performance ratio was overall acceptable compared to other restaurants in the same category. Overall, it is a restaurant that focuses on lifestyle and experience.

The bite of the evening... was the tagliatelle Bolognese, which impressed with its al dente texture, generous portion, and good ingredients. It was also well seasoned compared to the other dishes. If I visited again, that would definitely be something I would order again.
